Olatomiwa 'Bif' Bifarin

Hey! šŸ‘‹šŸæ My name is Olatomiwa Bifarin, and I also go by Bif.

Currently, I’m the founder of Titerly, where I’m building the governance layer for AI-native scientific work, helping labs turn recurring scientific work into reusable, inspectable, and auditable workflows.

Back in the day, I used to code in Python by hand, and I have always liked the idea of being a great designer. I’ve worked as a secondary school teacher; I have been an unserious YouTuber; and I’ve been a grad student studying yeast genomics and Caenorhabditis elegans. I hold a PhD in Biochemistry.

I am a decent soccer goalkeeper, a scientist-engineer, and an essayist. Over the years, I’ve studied cancer metabolism, written a tiny book, and served as a Sunday school teacher. I was a President’s Postdoctoral Fellow at Georgia Tech, where I conducted applied machine learning and biomedical research. You can find my academic page here. Ethnically, I am Yoruba.

I’m also a runner (~40 km on a good week), partly for the endocannabinoids, partly to justify my audiobook and podcast habit.
